We are looking for men and women who are seeking a challenging and exciting career, who want to make a difference, and enjoy being part of a dynamic team.
Our Transit Officers have a professional demeanour and remain calm when faced with challenging situations. They provide quality customer service to our passengers and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of all who travel on our metropolitan rail network.
Being a Transit Officer is an often-demanding role that has great rewards, pay and conditions. You will be part of a large skilled team working in a variety of locations across the metropolitan rail network.
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is rapidly expanding, and we are now recruiting to cater for the growing requirements.
With the opening of the Forrestfield Airport Link, the Yanchep rail extension, the Thornlie to Cockburn project and the Morley - Ellenbrook line we require many highly skilled, motivated, and professional people to bolster our numbers ensuring we continue to provide the highest level of service to the community both now and into the future.
The Forrestfield Airport Link is a new train line that will connect Forrestfield to the Perth CBD opening Perth’s eastern suburbs and the Airport users to the rail network for the first time. This new line includes three new stations: Redcliffe, Airport Central and Forrestfield.
While our focus is on recruiting for Forrestfield Airport Link, you may be allocated to other lines including Armadale, Joondalup, Fremantle, Mandurah, Midland or Perth.
