Data Analytics and Insights is an interdisciplinary team tasked with improving how the public sector uses evidence to make better decisions and policy. We work with a broad range of agencies and tackle the State’s most complex social, health, environmental and economic issues. About the Role
We are seeking talented and motivated individuals with a passion for achieving outcomes to join us.
As part of this role, you will:
- Build cross-sector, whole-of-government dashboards that integrate data from a number of agencies,
- Be supported as you develop skills in best practice user interface (UI) design, user experience (UX), storytelling, and data visualisation principles, and
- Work with an interdisciplinary team of data engineers and graphic designers to present data to decision makers.
Superstar dashboard skills are not necessary. If you have experience building dashboards and have an eye for detail, we will support you as you upskill. We will provide data visualisation and UX training to ensure you learn and apply best practice. Your work will be used across the sector by analysts, policy makers, and Ministers to take evidence-based actions.
