The WA Police Graduate Program is looking for recent graduates who are motivated, high performing and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
As a Graduate Officer, you will undertake a 12 month structured program which is focused on developing your professional skills and leadership capabilities, including tailored learning and development opportunities and participation in a number of diverse work rotations to kick start your career.
APPLICATION PROCESS
There are four permanent positions available within the following portfolios and applicants must indicate which portfolio they are applying for and demonstrate a relevant degree:
- Policy and Legislation Portfolio– degrees relating to Social Science and Justice
- Intelligence Portfolio– degrees relating to Social Science, Justice and Analytics
- Business Strategy and Finance Portfolio– degrees relating to Business Analytics
- Workforce Portfolio– degrees relating to Adult Education and Human Resources.
Applicants are asked to provide all of the information and attachments below for the application to be eligible and complete:
1. A cover letter that does not exceed two (2) pages including:
- The portfolio placement(s) you are interested in applying for and why, and
- Address the work related requirements as outlined in the position description.
2. A comprehensive CV including the names and contact details of two (2) referees.
3. A copy of your official academic transcript (or evidence of your course weighted average of 70% or above). Please note, to be eligible for the program, applicants must have completed a three year undergraduate degree or higher within 18 months of program commencement in early 2018.
4. A completed and signed Integrity Check Consent Form.
