The Role
We are actively seeking primary teachers with exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. As a primary teacher, you would promptly establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, setting high expectations and cultivating a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development.
Ideally, you will exhibit exemplary teaching skills, with a strong motivation to excel, and a commitment to delivering best practices. The capacity to excel in an environment characterised by whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth is highly valued.
As a member of our team, you would leverage high-impact teaching strategies and showcase experience in designing and delivering engaging literacy and numeracy programs. An understanding of differentiation to meet diverse student needs is highly valued, along with proficiency in utilising various assessment tools to inform progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide future classroom planning. You will need to adopt whole school programs that we have in place and align yourself to the whole school Instructional Model that is underpin by explicit teaching. Experience with PR1ME Mathematics, Seven Steps to Successful Writing, Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI), Daily Reviews and Sweller’s Cognitive Load Theory is beneficial, but not a prerequisite.
