Fixed Term Part Time appointment/s at various hours per fortnight,
with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

should be noted:
- The panel will monitor
this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess on a
regular basis.
- Suitable applicants will
be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when
similar vacancies occur.
- Appointments may be made
from this pool until 30/12/2026.
Position
Profile:
The Clinical Midwife
is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, providing
clinical and professional expertise to deliver comprehensive,
evidence-based midwifery care to patients. The role supports and
promotes patient safety and quality care outcomes, while practising
within scope in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of
Australia’s Midwifery Practice Decision-Making
Framework.
Midwifery
Group Practice (MGP) Clinical Midwife:
The MGP Clinical
Midwife delivers clinical and professional expertise to provide
comprehensive, evidence-based continuity of midwifery care across
the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods within a
multidisciplinary maternity team. The role is responsible for
coordinating continuity of care and ensuring the delivery of safe,
high-quality, woman-centred care.
Area
Profile: Armadale Health Service (AHS) is a general
hospital focused on providing a range of high quality health care
services in the community. The hospital, which is part of the
Armadale Kalamunda Group, is equipped with an Emergency Department
and Intensive Care Unit and provides high-quality general medical
and surgery services, rehabilitation, maternity, paediatric and
neonatal, mental health, renal medicine and dialysis services and
ambulatory care.
Kalamunda District Community
Hospital (KDCH) is a specialist hospital and is part of the
Armadale Kalamunda Group. The hospital provides both day surgical
procedures and a specialist inpatient palliative care service for
patients in the east metropolitan area.
