caseload midwives - the equal highest rate in Australia.

from Endorsed Midwives to join the Royal Perth Bentley Group (RPBG)
as Endorsed Midwives at Bentley Health Service (BHS) in an exciting
and new model of care for maternity services. The service provides
a Midwifery Birth Centre (MBC) for women within the East
Metropolitan Health Service catchment area providing excellence in
continuity of care from pregnancy through to birth by the same
midwife for each woman. This model of care is the first of its'
kind offered within the Western Australia (WA) Health public
sector.
We are seeking to establish
a pool of experienced, passionate and caring Endorsed Midwives to
join our MBC team providing evidence based and high-quality patient
care as autonomous practitioners. If you have current Australian
Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA) registration as
a Registered Midwife with 'Endorsement' to prescribe schedule 2,3,5
and 8 medications required for midwifery practice across pregnancy,
labour, birth and postnatal care, then we would like to hear from
you.
Our new MBC is located at
BHS within a local community setting with dedicated and upgraded
facilities for women accessing our services. Midwives offer
continuity of care through a caseload roster across the continuum
of the antenatal, intrapartum / birthing and postnatal
periods.
This is a Recruitment Pool
for Permanent and Fixed Term Full Time/Part Time and Part
Time.
This recruitment pool will
be open for 12 months, and the following should be
noted:
- The
panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications
throughout this timeframe and will assess on a regular
basis.
- Suitable
applicants will be placed in a pool and appointments may be
made when similar vacancies occur within any EMHS
facility.
- Appointments may be made
from this pool until 31 December 2026.
- Please

Eligibility to
Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency
