About the role:
The PTA presents an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or those graduating this year (2025), with a major in Cyber Security / Network and Security (or equivalent) to join our Graduate Program commencing in February 2026.
Our Graduate Development Program is a two-year program, with permanent placement upon successful completion. The program offers comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and the chance to collaborate with the professionals responsible for maintaining our world-class public transport system. Through rotations within our organisation, you will have the opportunity to explore diverse business areas while leveraging cutting-edge technology.

How to Apply
To apply for the 2026 Graduate Development Program, applicants will have completed a relevant Bachelor degree recently, or will complete their studies by the end of 2025.
To be considered for the Graduate Development Program, please attach the following:
- A current CV including two references (work-related or university lecturer); and
- A copy of your recent academic transcript for all relevant qualifications (used to verify your WAM).
At the application form stage you will be asked to state why you are applying for this program.
Applicants who are short listed for further assessment will be asked to undertake psychometric testing. Course Weighted Average Marks (WAM’s) and psychometric testing results will be assessed as part of the application process so please ensure you attach your academic transcript.
Although preference will be given to candidates who are Australian permanent residents or are Australian/New Zealand citizens, we may consider candidates who possess temporary working visas. Temporary working visas must allow you to reside and work full time in Australia for the term of the program. Applicants must possess an appropriate visa at the time of application and also be eligible for a permanent visa in order to be eligible for permanency post program (Student visa's are not eligible).

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur for up to 12 months.
