About this role
This role leads the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist medical services to patients in respiratory medicine including cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis; promotes patient safety and quality of care; provides leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers; in collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants works to achieve national, state and NMHS performance standards and targets; works within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) Medical Credentialing and Scope of Clinical Practice Committee.
This role reports to the Head of Department for Respiratory Medicine.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Consultant – Physician – Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, skilled in cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis disease management, in our Respiratory Medicine department. You will be a driven and innovative individual whose actions, interactions and partnerships achieve high quality patient care.
