The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the PTA in the role of Maintenance Readiness Advisor in our Network & Infrastructure division. We are now seeking applications from suitable experienced individuals to fill this vacancy. This role will be responsible for planning, reporting and coordinating maintenance and programs of work in a safe and efficient manner. This will also include developing work procedures and planning resources to optimise the reliability and availability of asset systems.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for applicants who have demonstrated experience in project defect and readiness management. Applicants must have substantial experience in a relevant maintenance discipline or have relevant trade/tertiary qualification.
Ideally, the successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in contract supervision and the ability to effectively supervise a team of workers to meet deadlines and maintenance quality standards. Additionally, the successful applicant will have strong negotiation skills and sound written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Please Note: To be eligible for appointment to a position, suitable applicants will be required to undertake a full and comprehensive medical assessment to verify physical and psychological fitness to perform the duties of the position.
There is currently one permanent, full-time position available for an immediate start.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur for up to 12 months.
