This is a Pool process with permanent full time / part time and fixed term full time / part time opportunities.

We have various immediate vacancies to fill in our high performing team. They are:

Level 5:

  • Senior Information Governance Officer
  • Senior Information Release Officer

Level 6:

  • Coordinator Information Governance
  • Project Officer Operational Information

Our offices are conveniently located within the Perth CBD close to cafes and the shopping precinct. Working at 140 William Street, you can access discounts at some participating local vendors. Public transport is only a hop, skip and a jump away for an easy commute. We also have bicycle parking, change rooms, and shared table tennis and pool table facilities. As part of our team at KIT, you will also enjoy:

  • Flexible full-time, part-time, and working from home arrangements (where applicable).  
  • 4 weeks annual leave.
  • 3 days additional public sector holidays.
  • 10 days personal leave per annum.
  • 10.5% superannuation, full employer contribution. 

About the roles

Our Knowledge Information and Technology (KIT) Directorate is accountable for the provision of services and technology that support strategic and operational processes across the Department of Justice, enable information to be leveraged effectively and ensure the Department's investment in technology is optimised.    

We have various teams within KIT including Information Governance, Information Release & Litigation Management, Operational Records, and Data Management.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector it is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the duration of the contract.

All employees are required to undergo employment screening, which includes a National Criminal History Check and other checks that may be relevant to the position requirements.

About you

We are looking for dynamic and passionate information and data management practitioners who have the knowledge and experience to contribute to the development and implementation of an information strategy and who:

  • Have proven experience and/or qualifications in information management, data management, records management, FOI or litigation.
  • An ability to apply the appropriate level of discretion and confidentiality to tasks.
  • Sound research, organisational and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with a wide range of people and deliver a high level of customer service
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Have demonstrated ability in supporting and/or managing projects and initiatives to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes.

Pool Recruitment
