We are seeking to establish a pool of School Officers for permanent and fixed term, part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

As an Independent Public School since 2011, Dunsborough Primary School (PS) in partnership with the School Board, has built a team of teachers and support staff that are committed to professional excellence in education. Situated in the old part of Dunsborough, approximately 250 km south of Perth, the school now caters for 760 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

The Role

Dunsborough PS is looking for dedicated and dependable School Officers. Suitable applicants will maintain reception and perform general administration duties related to the daily operations of the school office. You should be highly organised and be able to prioritise tasks effectively. We are seeking individuals with good verbal and written communication skills, as well as good people skills and an ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.

Ideally, suitable applicants will be enthusiastic and provide great customer service, being the first point of call for parents, students, staff and community members. You should also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to provide accurate support and advice.

  1. Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
  2. Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns.
  3. Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
  4. Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
  5. Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
