Whilst all children develop at their own pace, some have extra challenges and can be impacted by social, emotional and physical changes. The Child Development Service (CDS) works as multidisciplinary team focused on individual and expert care for such children and their families.
CDS are seeking friendly, personable and skilled Clinical Psychologists or Clinical Psychologist Registrars with experience in the assessment and treatment of children. The available positions offer the opportunity for clinicians to provide individual assessments and treatment, participate in group-based interventions and also to be part of a multi-disciplinary team undertaking joint assessments and/or interventions. There will be opportunities to develop skills in diagnostic assessments, particularly in relation to autism spectrum disorders.
About CDS
We are a large service with 11 clinics in the Perth Metropolitan area. Our teams include Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Pediatricians, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists and other allied health professionals.

What We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children and/or families.
- Knowledge of child development.
- Knowledge of therapeutic treatments when working with children and families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of ethics and commitment to ethical practice.
