Ticketing and Membership Officer
We currently have one full-time, permanent vacancy for immediate filling.
A Pool will also be running for a period of 12 months.

About the role
This role supports the Coordinator Ticketing and Membership, to administer the Museum's event ticketing system, for exhibitions, programs and education bookings.
In addition the role supports the administration of the Museum membership program, with a focus on acquiring new members and identifying and maximising opportunities and sales across the three tiers of the Museum’s membership portfolio.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual who loves working in a positive team environment, enjoys a challenge and wants to make a difference.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
- Deliver an annual membership plan spanning campaigns and events, across all Museum locations.
- Work with the Manager to identifying opportunities to improve processes for the membership program.
- Deliver the member life cycle i.e. sale and payment, new member communications, member benefit administration and renewal process.
- Act as the main point of contact for members and prospective members, taking enquiries via multiple communication channels, providing a high level of customer service, and updating databases in a timely manner.
- Assists in coordination various promotions, signage and membership activities.
- Liaise with Visitor Services staff to assess daily processes related to the ticketing function, to ensure that an efficient and effective workflow is maintained.

- Experience and working knowledge of large scale ticketing systems, including experience in Customer Relationship Management, ticketing event builds and sales reporting.

Eligibility to Apply
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.
A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.
Pool Recruitment
This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Permanent, fixed term, full time and part time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
Applicants found suitable in this pool, may be considered for subsequent, similar vacancies with the WA Museum for the duration of the pool.
