24 month casual appointment pool
We are establishing an appointment pool for vacancies that arise up to 24 months from the first appointment.
Vacancies will be filled on a casual basis.
Suitable candidates will be placed in the appointment pool from which opportunities may be offered as vacancies arise. Candidates may also be considered for similar positions within South Metropolitan TAFE as they arise during the life of the pool. If the appointment pool is exhausted prior to the pool expiry date, we reserve the right to supplement the pool through further advertising.

About the role
This front-line position assists the Senior Library Technician to provide a quality information service to South Metropolitan TAFE clients. The role is also responsible for delivering library orientation programs and conducting in-library training and information programs for staff and students as well as operating and maintaining effective library systems.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in a library environment, with sound communication skills and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.

Other Conditions and Eligibility
Eligibility for employment is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance. The recommended occupant will also be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
To be eligible for appointment applicants must have a working visa (for fixed term contract appointments) or permanent residency (for permanent appointments).
