These positions is part of the Aboriginal Employment Program (AEP), which is a diversity initiative to achieve equality and increase workforce representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. What is the Aboriginal Employment Program (AEP) about?
The AEP is a 12 month program which provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people employment and career development opportunities. The program commences in February 2020.

The Position
Location: Perth
In this role you will be working with an efficient team responsible for providing quality front line customer service to a diverse range of internal and external customers in respect to the Department's policies and procedures. This includes advising customers on departmental requirements and receiving, assessing and coordinating applications for various transactions.
To successfully transition into this role, you will be able to easily communicate and provide appropriate information to customers. You will have the capacity to organise work according to deadlines and have a flexible approach to changing expectations.

To be shortlisted for interview you will need to submit a Resume and a 2 page cover letter demonstrating how your skills and experience meet the following role requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in providing customer service and working collaboratively in a team;
- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative support while using a variety of software systems; and
- Works under direct supervision to meet timelines and priorities.
