Our campus has a proud and long-standing record of providing students with a different learning experience where flexible, student-focused opportunities to learn and succeed build future pathways for all our students. We are a diverse and inclusive campus and provide a safe and supportive environment for students and teachers to learn and grow together.
The campus is seeking to appoint an innovative and motivational leader who is suitably qualified to coordinate curriculum delivery and performance across the campus.
As a member of the Campus Management Team, the Program Coordinator of Curriculum and Performance will ideally be an exemplary classroom practitioner with developed leadership, communication and team building skills. This is a newly developed role that strategically aligns to the campus’s vision and organisational restructure. The position is directly responsible to the Deputy Principal (Teaching and Curriculum) and assumes responsibility for the supervision of the campus’s quality teaching initiative and curriculum assurance processes and measures.
The Program Coordinator of Curriculum and Performance will support the campus values and promote and build the capacity of teaching staff across the campus to embrace and embed evidence-based educational practices that will enrich the learning experience of a diverse and unique senior campus student cohort.
This position includes a teaching component. The successful applicant will ideally be an outstanding teacher in their subject areas in terms of knowledge of content, current educational research in teaching methodology, methods of evaluation and professional development. You should have knowledge and experience in leading evidence-based improvement initiatives across a school in areas such as the development of inclusive language instructional strategies, peer observation processes, performance and destination tracking, and curriculum development and assurance.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Deputy Principal (Teaching and Curriculum) to build a teaching community that embodies the campus’s Quality Teaching Operational Plan, specifically that of the teaching and learning framework and instructional model. The successful applicant will be supported by teachers from the campus’s Quality Teaching Leadership Group and will plan and deliver professional learning and support to staff in concert with other quality teaching initiative areas managed across the campus, including peer observation and instructional technologies.
North Lake Senior Campus is a multi-cultural senior campus that has an adult ethos. The campus is open to students from all schooling backgrounds and caters for both compulsory and post compulsory aged students.
