The Role
Mindarie SC is seeking a skilled and dedicated Teacher to join our Technologies team.
The ability to teach General Business Management and Enterprise (BME) and General Accounting and Finance is highly necessary. It is highly desirable that the successful applicant also have ability to successfully teach ATAR Accounting and Finance, and the ability to teach ATAR Economics is also desirable.
As a valuable member of the teaching staff, the successful applicant will be responsible for educational outcomes within the school's Technology Curriculum. Applicants should have the skills to build positive, caring relationships with students and work within a department of dedicated teachers.
The successful applicant will ideally be an effective team member who is a dedicated and highly motivated educator with an excellent knowledge of the Senior School Western Australian Curriculum; able to deliver content in an engaging manner. Our teachers model exemplary teaching and learning strategies in their delivery. As such, the successful applicant should possess a repertoire of teaching strategies to engage students, ideally having knowledge of and experience in, a range of instructional strategies and tactics. As a reflective practitioner, the successful applicant should possess effective data literacy and a capacity to modify their practice to meet identified student needs.
As we are a Bring Your Own Divice (BYOD) College, a commitment to ongoing development, implementation and reflection of technological knowledge and skills related to teaching practice is necessary.
Applicants should would have skills in applying digital learning tactics and strategies to improve student outcomes and engage in the development and implementation of innovative classroom practices which embed technology into curriculum delivery.
