Are you a master of illumination, ready to set the stage for unforgettable performances at a variety of WA’s leading theatres? The Arts and Culture Trust are seeking a Senior Lighting Technician to bring brilliance to their many stage productions! Working within a dynamic leadership role, the Senior Lighting Technician is responsible for the operation, installation, reparation, and maintenance of all things lighting.  

As a Senior Lighting Technician, you are responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of all lighting production equipment with a primary focus on providing a high quality, theatrical lighting operation system. Extensive experience in the performing arts and proven experience in the Theatre Industry are essential. 

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in theatrical lighting operations with a strong proficiency in ETC Lighting Consoles. Strong and effective communication capabilities to lead a small team towards excellence and the drive to create a safe working environment are also essential to the position.  

In this position you will need to demonstrate: 

  1. Timely installation, operation, maintenance, and removal of lighting infrastructure across the season of a production. 
  2. Programming and operation of lighting consoles.
  3. Maintains, repairs, and manages the organization and storage of technical equipment and assets. 
  4. Engage with and contribute to OHS paperwork and safety culture. 

Please note: this position works across a 7-day working week and weekend/after normal business hours may be needed.
