Our Compliance and Enforcement Directorate are looking to establish a pool of suitable skilled leaders to fill immediate and future vacancies for Managers at Level 7/ Specified Callings Level 4 and Senior Managers at Level 8/Specified Calling Level 5, see attached position matrix for further information on capabilities for each of the roles.
These roles will be responsible for leading, supervising and developing a team of environmental, compliance and investigations officers to effectively and safely deliver the day-to-day environmental, compliance and enforcement operations across a range of regulatory instruments administered by the department across an even wider range of regulated and non-regulated industries and activities including mining, agriculture and animal industries, heavy industry, waste industry and many more. These roles will also contribute to and lead on the development and delivery of operational and strategic programs to provide assurance that regulated and non-regulated industries are complying with approvals and environmental legislation.

This pool will operate for a period of twelve (12) months with vacancies being offered at part or full time on a permanent or fixed term contract basis with the possibility of extension or permanency. Pool applicants do not hold a right of review against appointment decisions made from the pool.
