2023 Mid-Year WA Resident Medical Officer (RMO) and Service Medical Registrar (SMR) Centralised Recruitment
This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full-Time, Fixed Term Part-Time (hours negotiable – minimum hours required to work may vary per site) Resident Medical Officer (RMO) and Service Medical Registrar (SMR) MID-YEAR appointments, commencing from May 2023 or later.
Salary: RMO Year 1-3 $103,412 - $123,444 p.a. or Registrar Year 1-7 $133,571 - $178,656 p.a. pro rata which is inclusive of base salary, 10.5% superannuation and professional development allowance (WA Health System Medical Practitioners AMA Industrial Agreement 2022)
*the salary range may be different if you are employed through St John of God Health Care.

The centralised recruitment process allows applicants to submit ONE application to cover THREE site preferences for employment as an RMO and/or SMR with the participating WA health service employers/sites listed below.
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until Friday 31 March 2023. Contracts of up to 12 months may be offered with the possibility of extension(s), at the discretion of the participating employer.

Eligibility to Apply:
To be considered for an RMO or SMR position, you must provide evidence that you:
- Are eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Further information can be found at: https://www.medicalboard.gov.au/Registration.aspx
- Are eligible to work in Australia (Evidence of valid Australian citizenship, permanent residency, temporary residency (or eligibility to obtain) must be provided prior to commencement); and
- have worked for a minimum of 6 months as a registered medical practitioner in an Australian hospital or comparable hospital setting within the last 3 years (listed below)

Application Selection Criteria:
