About the Role
The Network Management branch are currently seeking to appoint an experienced asset manager to manage the development, implementation and maintenance of Main Roads state-wide asset and network management strategies, systems and processes.
The successful incumbent will lead a competent team and undertake activities such as route planning & development plans from which this person will determine and recommend asset improvement & maintenance investment priorities and scenarios to inform investment decisions. This person will also manage the development and improvement of road performance measurement processes, tools, systems and indicators and report on the state-wide road asset performance. The role requires extensive liaison with Main Roads Regional offices and other directorates including Budget & Programming and various technical areas.
About You
To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate your extensive experience in road asset management, route planning and development as well as your extensive experience in one or more of road planning, road and bridge design, road construction practices and road maintenance practices. You will have extensive skill and experience in building and enhancing stakeholder relationships with an ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to see the successful development of route plans, level of service standards, maintenance strategies and funding allocations.
