About Office of Multicultural Interests

The Office of Multicultural Interests works to achieve the full potential of multiculturalism in Western Australia. This requires strategies that encompass the whole community, including business and industry groups, government and non-government agencies, culturally diverse communities and the wider community. It works with these communities to support and promote equity and accessibility.

About the role

Are you passionate about creating a difference in the multicultural, culturally and linguistically diverse communities? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Principal Consultant. We have one permanent, full time (75hrs p/f) position available.

As a Principal Consultant, you will drive the strategic management of high-priority projects to align with organisational goals, ensuring quality assurance and critical analysis of documentation. You will foster relationships with key stakeholders, manage and lead special projects for the Executive Director Office of Multicultural Interests, and oversee monitoring, reporting, and advice on policies, procedures, and budgets.

Your role includes representing the Executive Director, developing implementation plans, and applying systematic problem-solving to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential. This role is critical to ensuring the business effectively reports on and addresses issues and key policy areas affecting multiculturalism and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
