This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: The successful applicant to the fellow position is expected to act in a clinician role and share clinical duties with trainees and junior registrars in Ophthalmology at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH).
Area Profile:
- Perth Children’s Hospital is a 298-bed hospital and will provide tertiary-level and key secondary level health services, in inpatient, outpatient and ambulatory care settings, to children and adolescents up to 16 years of age.
- We have a standalone, fully equipped Ophthalmology Clinic
- Excellent opportunity for research in terms of presentation/publication.
