School Administrator (non-Principal) Employment Register
Salary: School Education Act Employees' (Teachers and Administrators) General Agreement

Are you an experienced educational leader looking to make a difference in Western Australian public schools?

The Department of Education is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced educators interested in school leadership opportunities across metropolitan, regional and remote schools.

School administrators play a critical role in leading teaching and learning, supporting staff development, fostering positive school cultures and improving outcomes for students.

This Employment Register may be used to fill permanent, fixed term and temporary vacancies in metropolitan, regional and remote schools. Appointments may be offered on a full-time or part-time basis.

Opportunities may include:

  • Program Coordinator
  • Head of Learning Area
  • Head of Department
  • Deputy Principal
  • Associate Principal

This Employment Register is limited to school leadership positions below Principal level. Principal positions are not included.

Acceptance to the Employment Register does not guarantee employment.

  • obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start employment
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
  • Complete any induction or training requirements relevant to the role
