The Opportunity
Are you an experienced ICT Project Manager looking to lead a high-impact digital transformation program?

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to play a key role in the ASSIST Reform Program – a major initiative to replace the Department’s core child protection case management system with a moder, user-centred solution.

This is a unique opportunity to deliver a complex, enterprise-wide ICT program that will significantly improve how services are delivered to vulnerable children, families and communities across Western Australia.

About the Role
In this role, you will lead the delivery of complex, high-risk ICT projects across the full project lifecycle, including driving the implementation of a large-scale case management system replacement. You will work across data, system integration and information management environments, leading multidisciplinary teams comprising business, technical and vendor stakeholders. The role requires influencing senior stakeholders, navigating complex organisational environments, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget. 

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking candidates with strong experience in delivering ICT and digital transformation projects,ideally within government or large enterprise environments.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience managing complex ICT programs or multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong understanding of information systems, data management and technology environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and vendors
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

Desirable:

  • Experience in case management systems, data modelling, or enterprise platforms
  • Knowledge of government procurement and governance frameworks
  • Formal project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile)
