The Business and Corporate Services function operates under a service delivery model to support ChemCentre achieve its strategic and commercial objectives. We provide a range of services including human resources, financial management, records management, project management and ICT Services and support and enhancement of bespoke systems.
About the role
ChemCentre is seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead Developer to join a driven and passionate team of developers.
The successful applicant will lead a small development team responsible for progressing the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and delivering other special projects aligned with ChemCentre’s organisational objectives. You will combine your strong technical skills with effective leadership skills contributing to digital transformation projects.
In this role you build relationships, communicate effectively, and influence stakeholders to achieve timely outcomes. The position will also support the Business Analyst, providing expert advice on application development and presenting recommendations to the Director and senior management.
With project management experience, you will undertake programming tasks and ensure projects are delivered within agreed timeframes.
This position is to be filled on a Permanent, Full-Time basis.

Eligibility
To be eligible for a permanent position, Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is essential.

Upon appointment, applicants will be required to provide a National Police Clearance and pass a Fit for Work test (completed prior to commencement).

- Essential Criteria 2: Ability to effectively lead and manage teams and projects in a complex and fast paced environment.
- Essential Criteria 3: Highly Developed relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to consult, negotiate, and influence internal and external key stakeholders and service providers to achieve timely outcomes.
- Essential Criteria 5: Extensive knowledge and understanding of Microservice architecture, API and Angular based web applications.
- Essential Criteria 6: Experience in Microsoft DevOps, .NET 6 or higher,C# , Entity Framework, EF Migrations, SQL Server, Database procedures and views.
