About the opportunity
We have two traineeship roles on offer. You can work either:
- Full time (12-month traineeship) or;
- Part time (18-month traineeship)

About the traineeship
As a trainee, you will learn and develop administrative skills whilst undertaking a Certificate III in Government.
Your tasks may include:
- Preparing simple documents
- Providing customer service
- Entering data and maintaining digital records
- Organising meetings and;
- Helping your team with other tasks as needed.
Your day-to-day work will help you complete your qualification.

Where you might work:
- TAFE International WA (TIWA) – TIWA is responsible for the recruitment and administration of international students studying at WA TAFE colleges and Government schools
- Training Accreditation Council (TAC) – TAC checks and approves training courses training courses across Western Australia.
You will be based at our Prospect Place office in West Perth, which offers convenient access to nearby bus services and Leederville train station, as well as a variety of food options nearby.

- Why are you applying for a traineeship?
- Tell us about a time you had a deadline to meet. What did you do to make sure you finished on time?
- Tell us about a time you worked as part of a team to achieve a goal. What were you working towards and how did you contribute?
- Tell us about your experience using computers or other technology. What types of tools or programs have you used (e.g. Microsoft Office, email, databases).
You can use examples from work, school, sport or volunteering but make sure you provide enough detail. And don’t forget to attach the letter to your application.
