The Opportunity

As a Director Corporate Information, you will be responsible for the Department of Communities information and data strategy and driving the transformation of the department into a digital-first organisation, underpinned by the smart use of data and information.

In this role you will develop and ensure the strategic planning, analysis and design for how data and information needs are translated into fit-for-purpose digital solutions. You will provide leadership, oversight and governance for ‘digital transformation’ in how the organisation captures, manages and utilises corporate data and information throughout the lifecycle of the department’s projects, research and operations. You will support and drive opportunities to leverage data to provide more efficient outcomes, with a strong emphasis on the delivery of improved digital and information capabilities that underpin the department’s strategic plan.
