The Clean Energy Skills National Centre of Excellence (CESNCE)
The Department of Training and Workforce Development is leading the establishment of Australia’s first Clean Energy Skills National Centre of Excellence.
The Department helps Western Australians to get into training and get skills for the wide array of jobs with the State’s vibrant businesses and communities in our strong and diversifying economy. Through close engagement with industry, community and training providers, we ensure training and workforce development initiatives meet the needs of the Western Australian community.
Working with the State’s TAFE network, the Clean Energy Skills National Centre of Excellence will provide State and national leadership for development and innovation in training for clean energy technologies. The Centre will partner with WA TAFEs, universities, industry, unions, Jobs and Skills Councils and other stakeholders to build the workforce pipeline needed for our economy to transition to net zero carbon emissions.
Under the guidance of an Industry Advisory Board, the Clean Energy Skills National Centre of Excellence will also be a front door for industry to access comprehensive training and workforce solutions.
We are an equal opportunity employer and encourage people with diverse backgrounds and lived experiences to join us, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, culturally and linguistically diverse people, people with disability, youth, women and people of diverse sexualities and genders.
