The State Services Division delivers essential corporate and enabling functions throughout the Department, ensuring effective and responsible operations in accordance with public sector and legislative requirements, and supporting the achievement of Government priorities.
About the Role
As Executive Manager, you will provide project and program management expertise and support the Assistant Director General to deliver divisional outcomes. You will provide advice and critical analysis, manage and resolve identified issues, coordinate activities across the division, and ensure the quality, consistency and timely delivery of written correspondence and documentation.

This role suits a highly capable leader with strong planning and organisation, and stakeholder management skills, who can provide high-quality advice in a complex environment. You will demonstrate:
- Strategic focus, high-level research and critical analysis skills; ability to evaluate solutions to complex issues and contribute to policy/strategy.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills; able to work to tight deadlines; monitors progress and adjusts plans to deliver outcomes.
- Proven ability to build and sustain networks with senior internal and external stakeholders; responsive, collaborative and keeps others informed.
- Provides impartial, constructive advice; acts with integrity and in line with public sector values and codes of conduct.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and liaise at senior levels; prepares clear, high-quality briefs and reports.
