About Integrated Therapy Services
Integrated Therapy Services is a trauma-informed allied health service for children aged 0-4 years living in out-of-home care in WA.  This specialist service delivers prevention, early assessment and intervention, referral, and coordination of care allied health services. Services are provided to address complex developmental support needs.

The Role
In the Allied Health Program Manager role, you will have the opportunity to lead the delivery of holistic services to support the development and wellbeing of young children with significant developmental vulnerability, laying the foundation for better lifelong outcomes.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and contributing to strategic planning, program and policy development, and operational planning.
  • Providing leadership in the management and coordination of service responses to children in out of home care, and to their families and carers.
  • Managing and providing leadership to allocated multidisciplinary teams.

Qualification Requirements
Applicants to be considered for this position, applicants must have one of the following:

  • Tertiary degree in Psychology approved by the Psychology Board of Australia AND eligible for general registration on the register of Psychologists with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Tertiary degree in Speech Pathology AND eligible for 'Practising Membership' with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification approved by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia AND eligible 'General Registration' on the register of Occupational Therapists' with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

All overseas qualifications must be assessed for Australian equivalency, and evidence provided when applying.

The Opportunity
There is currently one fixed term position available for immediate filling until 30 June 2027, with possibility of extension. The position will be based in the South Metropolitan region covering Bindjareb, Rockingham, and Fremantle areas.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for future temporary vacancies that arise within the next 12 months across the Department of Communities.
