About the Job

Are you passionate about compliance and risk management? 

As our Risk and Compliance Lead, you'll work closely with project teams to ensure that the right controls and risk management processes exist, and represent the broader Corporate Risk and Compliance team on large projects. 

You'll develop, manage and maintain compliance controls for large projects, and work closely with the General Manager Corporate Services to ensure alignment to corporate risk management controls. You will directly contribute to crisis management preparation for go-live including the planning, documentation, testing and stakeholder rehearsals. 

What we're looking for

  • Deep experience in audit, governance and compliance with knowledge of current trends, issues and standards.
  • Someone who has high level analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills with knowledge of risk management practices.
  • A strong communicator who is able to influence stakeholders and present to senior stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Deliver and assess the Risk Profile for large projects 
  • Develop business continuity planning and crisis management
  • Define controls and compliance for operational readiness 
  • Ensure alignment to the Corporate Risk and Compliance framework

Mandatory requirements

  • Police Clearance
  • Minimum 7-10 years experience in a similar audit or risk position
  • Membership of one of the following: Institute of Internal Auditors, or Information Systems Audit and Control Association; or, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand; or Certified Practicing Accountant Australia
