About The Role:

The Senior Tenders Officer provides tender delivery and administration services and oversees the opening and closing of Tenders. This position also provides advice and support to clients in the preparation of tender documents and conducts assessments of all tender submissions for compliance with Department and Government policies, procedures and legislative requirements. In addition, the Senior Tenders Officer prepares advice to unsuccessful tenderers, prepares formal instruments of agreement and coordinates the signing of contract documents on behalf of the Minister for Works and provides support in the management of security documents.

About You:

We are seeking a motivated individual committed to delivering quality customer service and working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

The role is suitable for someone who works well in a team environment, applies strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, has high attention to detail, and collaborates effectively to achieve results with a diverse range of stakeholders.

It also requires transferable experience in quality assurance and the preparation of documentation in compliance with legislation, standards, and policy, along with the ability to manage time-sensitive workloads and prioritise tasks effectively.

The position operates in Personal Leadership context. This means that you are required to demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. You will be expected to build and nurture relationships and be willing to seek feedback and learn.
