The Opportunity
As an Education Officer for the Department of Communities, you will be responsible for:

  • providing Education Services for children who come under the care of, or to the attention of the Department and the decisions and case management of Education Service referrals, including some complex cases.
  • developing and maintaining education programs . including educational resources and supports to children, schools, carers and/or families;
  • consulting and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders as appropriate, in relation to co-ordinating and monitoring the provision of tuition services
  • providing educational and social skill development to the child, family or caregiver where appropriate.
