The Role
The Senior Web Developer is responsible for the support and development of websites for the Department of Training and Workforce Development and TAFE colleges. These websites are built using industry standard content management systems.
The Senior Web Developer produces and maintains websites that are compliant with industry and government standards (including accessibility and user experience) and works across a wide range of devices and platforms.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in building and developing websites within the Drupal framework including creating custom theme and page templates based on design concepts, as well as custom module development. Using knowledge from a range of languages to undertake this work as well as knowledge and experience in deployment practices using GIT repositories to maintain server environments and use those repositories to deploy and update environments as needed.
