About the Role

VenuesWest is seeking a professional, experienced Project Manager to join our Major Projects team. Reporting to the Director Major Projects, the Project Manager is responsible for managing VenuesWest’s responsibilities in the transition to operations for new venues vested within the organisation.

Liaising closely with relevant stakeholders, the role provides overall coordination of operator and VenuesWest transition programs, develops scenario testing for new venues, ensures compliance with operating phase plans and provides oversight of the procurement and delivery of the operational fit-out of new venues.

This is a full time, fixed term opportunity to 30 June 2028 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

Flexible working arrangements including work from home arrangements will be discussed with candidates at the interview stage.

Whilst the positions will be based at the Perth High Performance Centre in Mount Claremont, mobility will be required between the portfolio of facilities.

About the Person

The successful candidate will have high-level project and contract management skills. Given the nature of the projects that this role will lead, experience working on major construction and development projects in a related field (government, sport, recreation and/or entertainment) would be a requirement to succeed in this role.
