We are establishing an open recruitment pool of Lecturer Electrical. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made for vacancies that arise in the next 24 months. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full time, part time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.
We currently have two Permanent full-time positions for immediate filling at our Karratha Campus and one permanent full time position for immediate filling at our Pundulmurra (South Hedland) campus.

- Pool Selection: Only those applicants who have been assessed as suitable through a merit selection process can be considered for selection to the pool. Appointment from the pool to a vacancy, is not guaranteed.
- Outcome: You will receive advice that you have been recommended for appointment to the pool or that you were unsuccessful for appointment to the pool. If you're not successful, you can request feedback and can reapply in the future.
- Appointments: May be made from this pool until 4 July 2027

Lecturing staff employed in 2025 are eligible to receive a Temporary Regional Incentive of $15,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at NRTAFE, with the remainder paid on the anniversary of start date. Staff must remain employed in the location for 12 months to be eligible to receive the second payment.
