About the role
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking a skilled Network Control Standards and Training Officer to support the training and assessment activities within the PTA’s Network Control Centre. In this role, you will lead the delivery of training for trainee and accredited Network Control staff, ensuring competency standards are maintained. You will be responsible for researching, developing, and reviewing training materials and courses, as well as submitting and validating course administration materials in line with industry standards. The role also involves mentoring staff, promoting a continuous improvement culture, and identifying training needs to enhance staff performance.
In addition to training responsibilities, this position includes working as a qualified Network Control Officer, ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective coordination of rail traffic and network occupations across the PTA's Rail Network. You will collaborate with the PTA’s RTO Quality and Compliance team to ensure training meets industry requirements and stay updated on relevant operational rail and learning trends.
