The Role
The Track Branch within the Network & Infrastructure division of the PTA has an exciting opportunity available for filling on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a Senior Track Engineer, your key focus will be to provide engineering support and expertise for the maintenance, design, construction, upgrades and modifications of the Track Branch assets. Your work will contribute to the overall performance, reliability, and compliance of the PTA Track network.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Relevant professional qualifications that would satisfy the admission requirement for Professional membership of the Institution of Engineers Australia.
- Proven experience in providing track engineering expertise and knowledge in the planning, design, delivery and commissioning of maintenance and/or construction works in an operational asset intensive environment.
- Proven experience in the development, design and delivery of rail projects, including understanding of project management principals.
- Proven experience in applying safety management systems and knowledge of the Rail Safety Legislation.
- Proven experience in applying asset management frameworks contributing to asset management strategy.
- Proven ability to develop and interpret standards for the construction of civil and rail related assets.
- Demonstrated experience in providing leadership to others that contributes to the achievement of agreed outcomes for a team.
