About Directorate:
Our specialised clinic as part of the Children’s Neuroscience Service at Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) caters to children from preterm to 18 years of age, particularly those with epilepsy, offering a comprehensive range of services from EEGs to Intraoperative Monitoring during brain and spinal surgeries. Our EEG satellite service to King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) provides Neonatal EEGs for infants in intensive care.

Position Profile and Role:
The Chief Clinical Neurophysiology Scientist role is an incredible leadership position. In this newly created role, you will join our multidisciplinary approach to healthcare, and lead a team of professionals in helping our young patients receive the best care possible.
As the Chief Clinical Neurophysiologist Scientist your key responsibilities include:
- Manage the administrative, scientific and research activities of the Western Australia state-wide service Paediatric Neurophysiology Department.
- Providing representation at meetings/committees and contributing to the activities of professional Societies relevant to Neurophysiology at national and international levels.
- Drive development of educational and skill transfer activities for Hospital and Health department staff and external organisations.
- Manage and mentor the Neurophysiology Scientist team.
