The Department of Finance acknowledges the traditional custodians of Western Australia and their continuing connection to the land, waters and community. We pay our respects to all members of Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders both past, present and emerging.
You have worked hard for your degree, and like many students, you may be considering the best place to launch your career.
The Department of Finance (Finance) is a unique and innovative central government agency, employing more than a 1,000 people from multi-disciplinary backgrounds to deliver a diverse range of services throughout the State.
We provide leadership and advice across government, deliver building infrastructure projects such as schools, hospitals and community facilities, buy goods and services for government such as electric vehicles, pharmaceutical products or software services and we coordinate initiatives to support the Western Australian economy like administering grants and rebates.
Surprising right? Our collaborative approach and commitment to innovation means we get things done.
Our staff are passionate about the work we do, and our values of clarity, empathy, growth and collaboration underpin everything. We are also committed to making Finance the ‘best place to work’ which means we value training, flexibility and diversity.
Finance provides services to Western Australians, whatever their age, cultural background, or personal circumstances. As a measure to achieve equality, Section 51 and Section 66R of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 applies to our Graduate Program. We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people with disability. Our recruitment practices are inclusive to enable all candidates to fully participate.
Please reach out to Diana Morellini via email or phone (details below) to confidentially discuss any adjustments or accommodations you may need.
