About the role

Are you an enthusiastic graduate or licensed Valuer? Are you ready for a new challenge?  We would love to hear from you.

We currently have opportunities available across various valuation disciplines including Rating & Taxing, Rural & Specialist valuations.

You will undertake valuations as well as provide consulting services and advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding property valuations focusing on residential, industrial, and commercial properties, varying in complexity depending on your level of experience.

An important part of this position will be to work collaboratively with others, provide support where required and contribute to the evolution of Valuation Services.

Role Requirements

To be successful in the Specified Calling level 1.1 – 1.3, you need:

  • To hold a degree as prescribed by Regulation 8(1) of the Land Valuers Licensing Regulations 1979 or an equivalent degree as approved by the Executive Director of Labour Relations.
  • An understanding of basic valuation principles.
  • An eye for detail and a capability to analyse and evaluate information.
  • An ability to provide exceptional service to customers and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills that enables successful interaction and cooperation with stakeholders at all levels.

To be considered for the Specified Calling level 1.4 to Specified Calling level 2, you will need the above criteria and:

  • A Land Valuer’s Licence in accordance with Section 19 of the Land Valuer’s Licensing Act 1978.
  • Significant professional valuation experience including complex valuations across various valuation types.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, influence, inspire, motivate, and work with others to make a difference.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organise your workload, have a strong record in achieving deliverables and activities within strict deadlines.
