About the role

The Digital Projects Officer contributes to the achievement of strategic and business objectives. The role coordinates and assists with the development and implementation of various projects and initiatives within the digital and online environment.

About you

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual who loves working in a positive team environment, excels at working with competing priorities and deadlines, and can hit the ground running in a fast-paced and diverse role.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Maintain, track and report on projects and operational task management within the Digital Services and Online Development team.
  • Produce and publish project-based digital content across the Museum’s digital platforms.
  • Assist in the research, development, and implementation of a range of digital resourcing projects in support of the division’s objectives.
  • Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and coordinate reports, submissions, briefings, correspondence, and advice.
  • Assist in the evaluation and review of project outcomes.
  • Assist with digital device management.
  • Coordinate Digital Services’ accounts management.

Eligibility to Apply

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working Visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments) at the time of application.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the Department’s Police Record Screening Policy.
