Stakeholder Engagement Officer
Level 5 | Part Time, Fixed Term opportunity until 30 June 2024 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.
- Assist in the delivery of stakeholder communications in relation to Transforming Bunbury’s Waterfront.
- Provide advice and consult with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be part of a dynamic and motivated team delivering a key project for the South West.
]What will your typical day look like?
This is an exciting part time - fixed term opportunity to be a part of the recently announced ‘Transforming Bunbury’s Waterfront Project’. Delivered by the South West Development Commission.
The coastal city of Bunbury is located 175km south of Perth. Bunbury is the third largest city in Western Australia and offers an extensive array of attractions, entertainment, shopping, nightlife and dining. For more information, please see the Visit Bunbury website.
As part of this high-profile project, you will take a pivotal role in coordinating, developing and implementing a communications plan and campaign through an active and participative approach with stakeholders. You will need to facilitate the engagement of state and local departments, technical advisory groups, the community, and other industry stakeholders in identifying, implementing and monitoring project strategies and initiatives.

We are looking for a proactive stakeholder relations and communications professional with a flair for organisation who can juggle many tasks to undertake the coordination of information across our current key projects.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate experience in stakeholder management. You will be results focussed with effective interpersonal skills and a commitment to building and maintaining strong relationships across a range of stakeholders. This “hands-on” role in our high-profile Transforming Bunbury’s Waterfront project will provide you with plenty of challenges and opportunities. You will have well developed research, analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to complete deadlines and prioritise in a changing environment.
