We are looking for an innovative and experienced leader to plan and implement the delivery of services and programs in our brand new facility scheduled to open in late 2020.

Job Description
As the Manager of the WA Museum’s Perth site you will lead the team operating this exciting new museum. Prior to opening, you will develop and implement the operational plans within the organisation’s strategic framework. This includes contributing to the development of the exhibition, lifelong learning and event programs; contributing to policy and strategy development; managing and reporting on financial and human resources.

Location
Initially this position will be located in central Perth, based at Gordon Stephenson House, One40 William Street. This building is located above the under-ground rail link and within easy walking distance of the bustling café, tourist and shopping districts. When the transition to opening begins, you will be located in the new facility in Perth Cultural Centre a short stroll to Perth train station and all that Northbridge has to offer.

Conditions
This is a full-time permanent vacancy. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 24 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool where appointments may be considered for similar vacancies for full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanency.
