A great opportunity is available to join a new office responsible for online services for the state of Western Australia. The Office of Digital Government is a branch of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet responsible for;
- Cyber security
- Online services
- Policy and strategy
- Data sharing and analytics
- Reform of information technology procurement
We are looking for Website Administrator professionals that will help develop our information assets through the coordination and delivery of online services and controls for Western Australia.
The Website Administrator will manage and coordinate the addition, modification and removal of content and metadata from the WA Government website (wa.gov.au) which includes whole of government and agency content. In conjunction with the System Administrator maintains and supports the Drupal 8 Content Management System (CMS) on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and associated systems used to produce, monitor and operate this website. They should have a strong working knowledge of PHP and code repositories, the confidence to code and to maintain the development standards of other coders. The Website Administrator will also maintain the associated operational business processes and documentation.
There is currently one (1) fixed term appointment available up to 30 June 2019 with the possibility of further extension and/or permanency. Suitable applicants from this process will be placed in a pool from which permanent and/or temporary appointments may be made. The pool will operate for a period of 12 months from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
