     This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time and Casual appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) for Fixed Term appointments.

Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint suitably experienced and enthusiastic people to the position of Medical Scientist. The Medical Scientist applies prescribed procedures and techniques, both routine and complex, to examine clinical specimens within the bacteriology / mycology area. This position also applies modern principles and practices to contribute to the development of improved processes and procedures for the examination of pathology specimens.

Please note that this position participates in after-hours work and rostered duties; including evenings, on-call, weekends and rostered shift work across any of the 24 hours of the day and the 7 days of the week.
