We are located in West Perth in part of the parliamentary precinct, adjacent to the CBD and next to the beautiful Kings Park. There is easy access to the CBD via CAT services and other free bus routes.
Graduate Development Program
Successful candidates will commence as Graduate Development Officers in late January 2018 on a 12-month contract with the possibility of permanency at the completion of this contract period.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Graduate Development Program, you need to:
- be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident (evidence to be provided with your completed application)
- be completing your three year or more degree in 2017 or have completed in 2015 or 2016. Graduates from all disciplines are encouraged to apply. However, human resource management, law, organisational psychology, public policy, humanities, industrial or employment relations, business and those disciplines that provide data/statistical analysis knowledge have been identified as the most desirable.
- have achieved consistently high academic results (copies of all official academic transcripts are required to be provided with your completed application)
- have undertaken some form of paid or unpaid work or work experience.
How to apply
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to provide the following.
- A completed application form (unless applying online).
- A one page covering letter introducing yourself and outlining why you are interested in working for the Commission and how your qualification(s) would align to the Commission’s strategic/operational priorities.
- A current and comprehensive CV (resume). It is important to tell us about the different facets of your experiences to date, so please include your work experience, extra-curricular involvement, achievements, associations and leadership roles.
- A two-page statement describing a team project or assignment you have been involved in and your role in that team. Tell us how you used your analytical skills, prioritised your time, how you worked through problems that arose and how you used your communication skills to achieve results and complete the project. You should also consider and explain how these skills may apply to the Graduate Development Program.
- Copies of your official academic transcripts (must include all results) and qualification (if completed in 2015 or 2016).
Should you be successful in the recruitment process, you will be required to provide evidence of a National Police Clearance prior to commencing in the position with the Commission.
