The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking a highly organised and analytical professional to contribute to the planning and delivery of replacement transport services across the Perth Urban Rail Network.

As a key member of the Transperth Train Operations (TTO) Service Planning team, you will play an important role in planning and coordinating replacement passenger transport services that support planned track closures. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will help ensure disruptions are managed effectively while maintaining a positive travel experience for passengers. This role combines service planning, operational coordination, stakeholder engagement, and data analysis to support the delivery of safe, reliable, and efficient public transport services.

You will be responsible for coordinating the administrative, resourcing, and logistical requirements associated with train service disruptions, liaising with Transperth Bus Contractors, and supporting the implementation of replacement transport services. The role also involves analysing service performance and passenger utilisation data, preparing reports and documentation for stakeholders, conducting post-closure reviews, and processing invoices in accordance with PTA guidelines. In addition, you may assist with operational supervision during special events and major service disruptions, contributing to effective service delivery across the network.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have: -

• Experience in transport logistics, service planning, or a related operational environment, with a sound understanding of public transport operations and contract management principles.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships, negotiate outcomes, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and external service providers.
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide insights that support service planning and continuous improvement.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach, demonstrating sound judgement, initiative, and the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering accurate and timely outcomes.
