Job Description
The role is responsible for the service delivery of critical infrastructure systems and assets including water production, treatment and irrigation pump stations, bores, control and distribution systems and sewerage infrastructure including pump stations, service and main lines across designated lands. The position leads a small team and multiple contractors for the operations, monitoring, maintenance, minor works and reporting to ensure adequate pressure, supply and water quality to service demand for non-potable water including the living collections, parklands and turf, water bodies (e.g. lakes and streams) and fire suppression, and potable water for buildings, drinking fountains, science laboratories, nursery and washdown facilities. This also includes liquid waste-sewerage systems and assets to ensure performance is optimised and meets service objectives.
Contributes to operational planning and review, works management systems, data collection and reporting processes.

Selection Criteria
Applicants should address the following three (3) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than three (3) pages in total.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the operations and maintenance of water (production, treatment, distribution and reticulation) and sewerage services infrastructure and systems.
- Demonstrated experience in forecasting and monitoring risk and issues, troubleshooting technical issues to maintain water service delivery.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills.
